Gregory Proctor

Gregory Proctor founded Prolific-Technology, LLC, a Veteran-Owned Small Business, in 2004 and currently serves as the President and Principal. His firm specializes in project controls in the defense, energy, environmental, construction, manufacturing, automotive, mining and microelectronics markets. Greg set the company’s vision and direction, achieving 67% growth in profit/revenue in FY2007-2008 and international expansion to the U.K. in FY2009 and France in 2010.  Greg has nearly 18 years of experience in project management and is an expert in project controls, specifically in developing CPM schedules using Primavera & Crystal Ball applications. He has positioned PTCGL at the forefront of the project controls industry through mentor-protégé relationships with various Fortune 500 companies and formal alliances with software development firms, including Oracle, Primavera and COBRA. Greg actively supports educational initiatives in the Chester, VA community where he lives and works.  In addition to volunteer & financial support for Elizabeth Scott Elementary, Greg also has conducted ARRA training for local small businesses as part of the outreach effort for Crater Procurement Assistance Center.

Prior to his current position, Greg held technical supervisory and engineering support positions in the semiconductor and microelectronics manufacturing industries. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a natural talent for leadership. Greg was the engineering lead on a three-man productivity improvement team that patented (IPD 00 E 7871) technology and process improvements.  These enhancements increased robotic loading capacity, improved the associated NODE processes, and saved $25 million, yielding a 25% increase in profits. 

During his years following his microelectronic career, Greg has been instrumental in developing, setting up and managing numerous challenging projects yielding over $250 billion dollars in project life-cycle cost.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business/Management (BS/BM) from the University of Phoenix.

He is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and has completed the required training for PMI Project Management Professional certification.  Furthermore, Greg has also completed US Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration course for construction management.
